Born and raised in Ethiopia, Hiwott’s passion for beauty and hair stemmed in high school. This passion evolved into a profession where she owned her own salon for 5 years in Ethiopia. Her ventures continued within the beauty world when she moved to the United States in 2013, enrolling in cosmetology school. Once she graduated she settled in Maryland leading her to discover her position as a stylist at Salon Jean in 2019. After working as Jean’s assistant for three years, she is displaying her skill set through haircuts, coloring, and styling.
